[व] सा सिच्यमाना अष्ठीला अभवच छतधा तदा अङ्गुष्ठ पर्व मात्राणां गर्भाणां पृथग एव तु ॥ १-१०७-१९ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, 'That ball of flesh then, sprinkled over with water, became, in time, divided into a hundred and one parts, each about the size of the thumb.' ॥ 1-107-19 ॥
