ततः स मुनिशार्दूलस तान उवाच तपॊधनान दॊषतः कं गमिष्यामि न हि मे ऽनयॊ ऽपराध्यति ॥ १-१०१-१६ ॥

sanskrit

'Vaisampayana narrated, "When questioned thus, the foremost among Munis responded to those sages of immense ascetic merit, 'Upon whom shall I cast blame for this? Indeed, no one other than myself has transgressed against me!'' ॥ 1-101-16 ॥

english translation

tataH sa munizArdUlasa tAna uvAca tapòdhanAna dòSataH kaM gamiSyAmi na hi me 'nayò 'parAdhyati ॥ 1-101-16 ॥
