तं राजा सह तैश चॊरैर अन्वशाद वध्यताम इति स वध्य घातैर अज्ञातः शूले परॊतॊ महातपाः ॥ १-१०१-११ ॥

'The king, mistakenly associating him with the thieves, decreed that the sage be executed alongside them. Consequently, the officers, in their ignorance, executed the order by impaling the esteemed Rishi.' ॥ 1-101-11 ॥
