उवाच चैनं भगवान रुरुः संशमयन्न इव कामया भुजग बरूहि कॊ ऽसीमां विक्रियां गतः ॥ १-१०-६ ॥

'Ruru, endowed with the six attributes, consoled the snake and inquired, "Reveal your true identity, O serpent, and explain the cause of your transformation."'॥ 1-10-6 ॥

english translation

uvAca cainaM bhagavAna ruruH saMzamayanna iva kAmayA bhujaga barUhi kò 'sImAM vikriyAM gataH ॥ 1-10-6 ॥
