अन्वजानाद अतॊ दयूतं धृतराष्ट्रः सुतप्रियः तच छरुत्वा वासुदेवस्य कॊपः समभवन महान ॥ १-१-९२ ॥
'Dhritarashtra, sometime after, out of affection for his son, gave his consent to their playing (with the Pandavas) at dice. And Vasudeva coming to know of this, became exceedingly enraged.'॥ 1-1-92 ॥
