अन्नवान दक्षिणावांश च सर्वैः समुदितॊ गुणैः युधिष्ठिरेण संप्राप्तॊ राजसूयॊ महाक्रतुः ॥ १-१-८५॥
'Yudhishthira, after having, through the wise counsels of Vasudeva and by the valor of Bhimasena and Arjuna, slain Jarasandha (the king of Magadha) and the proud Chaidya, acquired the right to perform the grand sacrifice of Rajasuya abounding in provisions and offering and fraught with transcendent merits.'॥ 1-1-85 ॥
