तम आश्रमम अनुप्राप्तं नैमिषारण्यवासिनः चित्राः शरॊतुं कथास तत्र परिवव्रुस तपस्विनः ।। १-१-३।।

sanskrit

When he reached the hermitage the wonderful inhabitants of the forest of Naimishara told him to take refuge in the ascetics ।। 1-1-3 ।।

english translation

tama Azramama anuprAptaM naimiSAraNyavAsinaH citrAH zaròtuM kathAsa tatra parivavrusa tapasvinaH || 1-1-3||
