युगस्यादौ निमित्तं तन महद दिव्यं परचक्षते यस्मिंस तच छरूयते सत्यं जयॊतिर बरह्म सनातनम ॥ १-१-२८॥

sanskrit

'At the beginning of the cosmic cycle (Yuga), in which we are told, was the true light Brahma, the eternal one, the wonderful and inconceivable being present alike in all places.' ॥ 1-1-28 ॥

english translation

yugasyAdau nimittaM tana mahada divyaM paracakSate yasmiMsa taca charUyate satyaM jayòtira barahma sanAtanama ॥ 1-1-28॥
