अध्यात्मं शरूयते यच च पञ्च भूतगुणात्मकम अव्यक्तादि परं यच च स एव परिगीयते ॥ १-१-१९६ ॥

'The subject of Adhyatma, which is the overseeing spirit of nature and shares the attributes of the five elements, has also been expounded.'॥ 1-1-196 ॥

adhyAtmaM zarUyate yaca ca paJca bhUtaguNAtmakama avyaktAdi paraM yaca ca sa eva parigIyate ॥ 1-1-196 ॥
