एवम उच्चावचैर अस्त्रैर भार्गवेण महात्मना तरिः सप्तकृत्वः पृथिवी कृता निःक्षत्रिया पुरा ॥ १-९८-३ ॥

sanskrit

'And the illustrious scion of Bhrigu's race, by means of his swift arrows annihilated the Kshatriya tribe one and twenty times.' ॥ 1-98-3 ॥

english translation

evama uccAvacaira astraira bhArgaveNa mahAtmanA tariH saptakRtvaH pRthivI kRtA niHkSatriyA purA ॥ 1-98-3 ॥
