एवम एव मनुष्येषु सयाच च सर्वप्रजास्व अपि यद अपत्यं महाप्राज्ञ तत्र मे नास्ति संशयः एषा तरयी पुराणानाम उत्तमानां च शाश्वती ।। १-९४-६१ ।।

sanskrit

'Truly, in this regard, there is scarcely any distinction between humans and lower creatures. O wise one, I have no doubt whatsoever that one achieves heavenly rewards by having offspring. The Vedas which constitute the root of the Puranas and are regarded as authoritative even by the gods, contain numerous proof of this.' ।। 1-94-61 ।।

evama eva manuSyeSu sayAca ca sarvaprajAsva api yada apatyaM mahAprAjJa tatra me nAsti saMzayaH eSA tarayI purANAnAma uttamAnAM ca zAzvatI || 1-94-61 ||
