न संपत्स्यति मर्त्येषु पुनस तस्य तु संततिः तस्माद अपुत्रः पुत्रस ते भविष्यति स वीर्यवान ।। १-९१-२१

sanskrit

'However, this son will not father any children on earth. Thus, your son, despite being endowed with great strength, will remain childless.' ।। 1-91-21 ।।

english translation

na saMpatsyati martyeSu punasa tasya tu saMtatiH tasmAda aputraH putrasa te bhaviSyati sa vIryavAna || 1-91-21

[व] एवं ते समयं कृत्वा गङ्गया वसवः सह जग्मुः परहृष्टमनसॊ यथा संकल्पम अञ्जसा ।। १-९१-२२

'[The Vasus said], "Having thus agreed, the Vasus, along with Ganga, happily departed, their minds at ease, as per their resolution."' ।। 1-91-22 ।।

[va] evaM te samayaM kRtvA gaGgayA vasavaH saha jagmuH parahRSTamanasò yathA saMkalpama aJjasA || 1-91-22
