[य] एकम आशीविषॊ हन्ति शस्त्रेणैकश च वध्यते हन्ति विप्रः सराष्ट्राणि पुराण्य अपि हि कॊपितः ॥ १-७६-२४ ॥
'Yayati responded, "A single serpent kills but one person, and by a weapon, one can kill a single individual. However, an enraged Brahmana has the power to destroy entire kingdoms, even obliterating ancient cities."' ॥ 1-76-24 ॥
