[य] मृगलिप्सुर अहं भद्रे पानीयार्थम उपागतः बहु चाप्य अनुयुक्तॊ ऽसमि तन मानुज्ञातुम अर्हसि ॥ १-७६-१५ ॥

sanskrit

'Yayati said, "I have come here, O auspicious one, desiring to hunt and also to quench my thirst. I am well-equipped for both. Please permit me to do so." ' ॥ 1-76-15 ॥

english translation

[ya] mRgalipsura ahaM bhadre pAnIyArthama upAgataH bahu cApya anuyuktò 'sami tana mAnujJAtuma arhasi ॥ 1-76-15 ॥
