इतीदम उक्त्वा स महानुभावस; तपॊ निधीनां निधिर अप्रमेयः तान दानवान दैवविमूढबुद्धीन; इदं समाहूय वचॊ ऽभयुवाच ॥ १-७१-५६ ॥

'Having spoken thus, the greatly esteemed sage, the reservoir of austerities, unfathomable in his depth, addressed those demons deluded by their divine powers: "Gather round and listen to my words."' ॥ 1-71-56 ॥

itIdama uktvA sa mahAnubhAvasa; tapò nidhInAM nidhira aprameyaH tAna dAnavAna daivavimUDhabuddhIna; idaM samAhUya vacò 'bhayuvAca ॥ 1-71-56 ॥

आचक्षे वॊ दानवा बालिशाः सथ; सिद्धः कचॊ वत्स्यति मत्सकाशे संजीवनीं पराप्य विद्यां महार्थां; तुल्यप्रभावॊ बरह्मणा बरह्मभूतः ॥ १-७१-५७ ॥

'I tell you, O foolish demons, stay attentive. Kacha will remain with me, having obtained the Sanjivani Vidya, a knowledge of great significance. Endowed with its power, he will become as potent as the Creator Himself, transformed into a being of divine essence.' ॥ 1-71-57 ॥

AcakSe vò dAnavA bAlizAH satha; siddhaH kacò vatsyati matsakAze saMjIvanIM parApya vidyAM mahArthAM; tulyaprabhAvò barahmaNA barahmabhUtaH ॥ 1-71-57 ॥

गुरॊर उष्य सकाशे तु दशवर्षशतानि सः अनुज्ञातः कचॊ गन्तुम इयेष तरिदशालयम ॥ १-७१-५८ ॥

'Vaisampayana continued, 'Bhargava having said so much cut short his speech. The Danavas were surprised and went away to their homes. Kacha, too, having stayed with his preceptor for a full thousand years, then prepared to return to the abode of the celestials, after having obtained his preceptor's permission.'" ॥ 1-71-58 ॥
