तत्राभवत तदा राजन बरह्मक्षत्रेण संगतम बराह्मणा मानवास तेषां साङ्गं वेदम अदीधरन ॥ १-७०-१२ ॥

sanskrit

'Subsequently, O monarch, the Brahmanas became united with the Kshatriyas. And those sons of Manu that were Brahmanas devoted themselves to the study of the Vedas.' ॥ 1-70-12 ॥

english translation

tatrAbhavata tadA rAjana barahmakSatreNa saMgatama barAhmaNA mAnavAsa teSAM sAGgaM vedama adIdharana ॥ 1-70-12 ॥
