अत्रेस तु सुमहाभागं पुत्रं पुत्रवतां वरम विदुरं विद्धि लॊके ऽसमिञ जातं बुद्धिमतां वरम ॥ १-६१-७९ ॥
'And, O king, you should know that Vidura, renowned as the first among all virtuous men and the very embodiment of Justice, was the highly fortunate son of the Rishi Atri on earth.' ॥ 1-61-79 ॥
