यस तु राजन कृपॊ नाम बरह्मर्षिर अभवत कषितौ रुद्राणां तं गणाद विद्धि संभूतम अतिपौरुषम ॥ १-६१-७१ ॥
'And, O king, that Brahman sage who, on earth, was known by the name of Kripa and was the embodiment of all manliness was born of the tribe of the Rudras.' ॥ 1-61-71 ॥
english translation
शकुनिर नाम यस तव आसीद राजा लॊके महारथः दवापरं विद्धि तं राजन संभूतम अरिमर्दनम ॥ १-६१-७२ ॥
'O King, know that Shakuni, who was a great charioteer in the world, was born in the Dwapara Yuga, a destroyer of enemies.' ॥ 1-61-72 ॥

सात्यकिः सत्यसंधस तु यॊ ऽसौ वृष्णिकुलॊद्वहः पक्षात स जज्ञे मरुतां देवानाम अरिमर्दनः ॥ १-६१-७३ ॥
'And he who was Satyaki of sure aim, that upholder of the pride of Vrishni race, that oppressor of foes, begotten of the portion of gods called the Maruts.' ॥ 1-61-73 ॥

दरुपदश चापि राजर्षिस तत एवाभवद गणात मानुषे नृप लॊके ऽसमिन सर्वशस्त्रभृतां वरः ॥ १-६१-७४ ॥
'King Drupada, renowned as a sage among kings, emerged from the same group, becoming the foremost among all bearers of weapons in the human world.' ॥ 1-61-74 ॥

ततश च कृतवर्माणं विद्धि राजञ जनाधिपम जातम अप्रतिकर्माणं कषत्रियर्षभ सत्तमम ॥ १-६१-७५ ॥
'And, O king, thou should also know that Kritavarman, that prince among men, of deeds unsurpassed by any one, and the foremost of all bulls amongst Kshatriyas, was born of the portion of the same celestials.' ॥ 1-61-75 ॥
