निचन्द्रश चन्द्र वक्त्रश च य आसीद असुरॊत्तमः मुञ्ज केश इति खयातः शरीमान आसीत स पार्थिवः ॥ १-६१-२६ ॥
'The Asura Suhtra of great energy and the destroyer of foemen became noted on earth as the fortunate monarch, Munjakesa.' ॥ 1-61-26 ॥
english translation
nicandraza candra vaktraza ca ya AsIda asuròttamaH muJja keza iti khayAtaH zarImAna AsIta sa pArthivaH ॥ 1-61-26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिकुम्भस तव अजितः संख्ये महामतिर अजायत भूमौ भूमिपतिः शरेष्ठॊ देवाधिप इति समृतः ॥ १-६१-२७ ॥
'That Asura of great intelligence called Nikumbha, who was never vanquished in battle was born on earth as king Devadhipa, the first among monarchs.' ॥ 1-61-27 ॥

nikumbhasa tava ajitaH saMkhye mahAmatira ajAyata bhUmau bhUmipatiH zareSThò devAdhipa iti samRtaH ॥ 1-61-27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशरभॊ नाम यस तेषां दैतेयानां महासुरः पौरवॊ नाम राजर्षिः स बभूव नरेष्व इह ॥ १-६१-२८ ॥
'That great Asura known amongst the sons of Diti by the name of Sarabha became on earth the royal sage called Paurava.' ॥ 1-61-28 ॥

zarabhò nAma yasa teSAM daiteyAnAM mahAsuraH pauravò nAma rAjarSiH sa babhUva nareSva iha ॥ 1-61-28 ॥

'He amongst the Asura who was known as Salabha the second, became on earth the monarch Prahlada in the country of the Valhikas.' ॥ 1-61-29 ॥

davitIyaH zalabhasa teSAma asurANAM babhUva yaH parahrAdò nAma bAhlIkaH sa babhUva narAdhipaH ॥ 1-61-29 ॥

'Chandras, the best among the sons of Diti, resembling the lord of stars in the world, became known as Rishika, a royal sage, esteemed among kings.' ॥ 1-61-30 ॥
