तदा निःक्षत्रिये लॊके भार्गवेण कृते सति बराह्मणान कषत्रिया राजन गर्भार्थिन्यॊ ऽभिचक्रमुः ॥ १-५८-५ ॥
'At that time, when the earth was devoid of Kshatriyas, the Kshatriya women, eager for progeny, would approach the Brahmanas.' ॥ 1-58-5 ॥
