धर्मशीला जनपदाः सुसंतॊषाश च साधवः न च मिथ्या परलापॊ ऽतर सवैरेष्व अपि कुतॊ ऽनयथा ।। १-५७-१० ।।

sanskrit

'The cities and towns of this region are all devoted to virtue; the people are honest and contented; they never lie even in jest.' ।। 1-57-10 ।।

english translation

dharmazIlA janapadAH susaMtòSAza ca sAdhavaH na ca mithyA paralApò 'tara savaireSva api kutò 'nayathA || 1-57-10 ||
