ऋत्विग्भ्यः ससदस्येभ्यॊ ये तत्रासन समागताः तेभ्यश च परददौ वित्तं शतशॊ ऽथ सहस्रशः ॥ १-५३-११ ॥
'The king bestowed money in hundreds and thousands upon the Ritwiks, the Sadasyas, and all those who had assembled there.' ॥ 1-53-11 ॥
english translation
लॊहिताक्षाय सूताय तथा सथपतये विभुः येनॊक्तं तत्र सत्राग्रे यज्ञस्य विनिवर्तनम ॥ १-५३-१२ ॥
'And to Suta Lohitaksha, well-versed in the principles of construction and foundations, who, at the beginning, had foretold that the snake-sacrifice would be interrupted by a Brahmana.' ॥ 1-53-12 ॥

निमित्तं बराह्मण इति तस्मै वित्तं ददौ बहु ततश चकारावभृथं विधिदृष्ट्तेन कर्मणा ॥ १-५३-१३ ॥
'The king gave much wealth. The king, of uncommon kindness, also gave him various things, with food and wearing apparel, according to his desire, and became very much pleased.' ॥ 1-53-13 ॥

निमित्तं बराह्मण इति तस्मै वित्तं ददौ बहु ततश चकारावभृथं विधिदृष्ट्तेन कर्मणा ॥ १-५३-१३ ॥

'Then he concluded his sacrifice according to the prescribed rites, and after treating him with every respect, the king in joy sent home the wise Astika exceedingly gratified, for he had attained his object.' ॥ 1-53-14 ॥

पुनरागमनं कार्यम इति चैनं वचॊ ऽबरवीत भविष्यसि सदस्यॊ मे वाजिमेधे महाक्रतौ ॥ १-५३-१५ ॥
'And the king told him, 'You must return to participate as a Sadasya in my grand Horse sacrifice.'' ॥ 1-53-15 ॥
