वितस्थे सॊ ऽनतरिक्षे ऽथ हृदयेन विदूयता यथा तिष्ठेत वै कश चिद गॊचक्रस्यान्तरा नरः ॥ १-५३-६ ॥
'And he succeeded in staying in the skies, with afflicted heart, like a person somehow staying between the welkin and the earth.' ॥ 1-53-6 ॥
english translation
vitasthe sò 'natarikSe 'tha hRdayena vidUyatA yathA tiSTheta vai kaza cida gòcakrasyAntarA naraH ॥ 1-53-6 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततॊ राजाब्रवीद वाक्यं सदस्यैश चॊदितॊ भृशम कामम एतद भवत्व एवं यथास्तीकस्य भाषितम ॥ १-५३-७ ॥
'The king then, on being repeatedly urged by his Sadasyas, said, 'Let it be done as Astika hath said.' ॥ 1-53-7 ॥
english translation
tatò rAjAbravIda vAkyaM sadasyaiza còditò bhRzama kAmama etada bhavatva evaM yathAstIkasya bhASitama ॥ 1-53-7 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसमाप्यताम इदं कर्म पन्नगाः सन्त्व अनामयाः परीयताम अयम आस्तीकः सत्यं सूतवचॊ ऽसतु तत ॥ १-५३-८ ॥
'May the sacrifice come to a conclusion, may the snakes remain unharmed, and may Astika be content. O Suta, let your words also be truthful.' ॥ 1-53-8 ॥

samApyatAma idaM karma pannagAH santva anAmayAH parIyatAma ayama AstIkaH satyaM sUtavacò 'satu tata ॥ 1-53-8 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततॊ हलहलाशब्दः परीतिजः समवर्तत आस्तीकस्य वरे दत्ते तथैवॊपरराम च ॥ १-५३-९ ॥
'When Astika received the granted boon, joyful applause echoed through the air, marking the culmination of the sacrifice of Parikshit's son.' ॥ 1-53-9 ॥

tatò halahalAzabdaH parItijaH samavartata AstIkasya vare datte tathaivòpararAma ca ॥ 1-53-9 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस यज्ञः पाण्डवेयस्य राज्ञः पारिक्षितस्य ह परीतिमांश चाभवद राजा भारतॊ जनमेजयः ॥ १-५३-१० ॥
'The sacrifice of the Pandava king, the son of Parikshit, became complete, and King Janamejaya, the descendant of Bharata, obtained his desired relief.' ॥ 1-53-10 ॥
