सर्वं विस्तरतस तात भवाञ शंसितुम अर्हति सर्पसत्र विधानज्ञा विज्ञेयास ते हि सूतज ॥ १-४८-३ ॥

sanskrit

'It behoveth thee to describe all these in detail, so that, O son of Suta, we may know who were acquainted with the rituals of the snake-sacrifice' ॥ 1-48-3 ॥

english translation

sarvaM vistaratasa tAta bhavAJa zaMsituma arhati sarpasatra vidhAnajJA vijJeyAsa te hi sUtaja ॥ 1-48-3 ॥
