ततः सर्पाः समापेतुः परदीप्ते हव्यवाहने विवेष्टमानाः कृपणा आह्वयन्तः परस्परम ॥ १-४७-२० ॥

'And swollen and breathing hard, and twining each other with their heads and tails, they came in large numbers and fell into the fire.' ॥ 1-47-20 ॥

english translation

tataH sarpAH samApetuH paradIpte havyavAhane viveSTamAnAH kRpaNA AhvayantaH parasparama ॥ 1-47-20 ॥
