अक्षुद्रम अनसूयं च वृद्धं मौन वरते सथितम शरण्यं सर्वभूतानां पित्रा विप्रकृतं तव ॥ १-४६-७ ॥
'He was free from any form of meanness and envy, being an elderly sage committed to the vow of silence. He served as a refuge for all creatures in times of distress.' ॥ 1-46-7 ॥
