न चाप्य अवमतस्येह वस्तुं रॊचेत कस्य चित किं पुनर धर्मशीलस्य मम वा मद्विधस्य वा ॥ १-४३-२४ ॥

sanskrit

'A person who has been insulted should never dwell in the location of the offense; and, especially, I, as a virtuous individual, and those similar to me, ought not to remain in such a place.' ॥ 1-43-24 ॥

english translation

na cApya avamatasyeha vastuM ròceta kasya cita kiM punara dharmazIlasya mama vA madvidhasya vA ॥ 1-43-24 ॥
