इति निश्चित्य मनसा जरत्कारुर भुजंगमा तम ऋषिं दीप्ततपसं शयानम अनलॊपमम उवाचेदं वचः शलक्ष्णं ततॊ मधुरभाषिणी ।। १-४३-१८ ।।

'And having resolved at last, the sweet-speeches Jaratkaru, the sister of Vasuki, spake softly unto that Rishi resplendent with ascetic penances, and lying prostrate like a flame of fire.' ।। 1-43-18 ।।

english translation

iti nizcitya manasA jaratkArura bhujaMgamA tama RSiM dIptatapasaM zayAnama analòpamama uvAcedaM vacaH zalakSNaM tatò madhurabhASiNI || 1-43-18 ||
