स चाप्य अस्मिन मखे सौते विद्वान कुलपतिर दविजः दक्षॊ धृतव्रतॊ धीमाञ शास्त्रे चारण्यके गुरुः ।। १-४-५ ।।

sanskrit

'In this sacrificial ceremony, the wise and learned chief of the clan, Daksha, steadfast in his vows and possessing discerning intellect, is the revered preceptor in the domain of Vedic knowledge.' ।। 1-4-5 ।।

english translation

sa cApya asmina makhe saute vidvAna kulapatira davijaH dakSò dhRtavratò dhImAJa zAstre cAraNyake guruH || 1-4-5 ||
