अङ्कुरं तं स कृतवांस ततः पर्णद्वयान्वितम पलाशिनं शाखिनं च तथा विटपिनं पुनः ॥ १-३९-१० ॥

'And first he created the sprout, then he furnished it with two leaves, and then he made the stem, and then the branches, and then the full-grown tree with leaves and all.' ॥ 1-39-10 ॥

english translation

aGkuraM taM sa kRtavAMsa tataH parNadvayAnvitama palAzinaM zAkhinaM ca tathA viTapinaM punaH ॥ 1-39-10 ॥
