अपरे तव अब्रुवंस तत्र जले परक्रीडितं नृपम गृहम आनीय बध्नीमः करतुर एवं भवेन न सः ॥ १-३३-२६ ॥
'Others there said, 'When the king will sport in the waters, we will carry him to our home and bind him, so that that sacrifice will not take place!' ॥ 1-33-26 ॥
english translation
apare tava abruvaMsa tatra jale parakrIDitaM nRpama gRhama AnIya badhnImaH karatura evaM bhavena na saH ॥ 1-33-26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअपरे तव अब्रुवंस तत्र नागाः सुकृतकारिणः दशामैनं परगृह्याशु कृतम एवं भविष्यति छिन्नं मूलम अनर्थानां मृते तस्मिन भविष्यति ॥ १-३३-२७ ॥
'Other serpents who deemed themselves wise, said, 'Approaching the king, let us bite him, so that our object will be accomplished. By his death the root of all evil will be torn up.' ॥ 1-33-27 ॥
english translation
apare tava abruvaMsa tatra nAgAH sukRtakAriNaH dazAmainaM paragRhyAzu kRtama evaM bhaviSyati chinnaM mUlama anarthAnAM mRte tasmina bhaviSyati ॥ 1-33-27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएषा वै नैष्ठिकी बुद्धिः सर्वेषाम एव संमता यथा वा मन्यसे राजंस तत कषिप्रं संविधीयताम ॥ १-३३-२८ ॥
'This concludes our collective deliberation, O observer with discerning eyes! Now, promptly carry out what you consider appropriate.' ॥ 1-33-28 ॥
english translation
eSA vai naiSThikI buddhiH sarveSAma eva saMmatA yathA vA manyase rAjaMsa tata kaSipraM saMvidhIyatAma ॥ 1-33-28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptइत्य उक्त्वा समुदैक्षन्त वासुकिं पन्नगेश्वरम वासुकिश चापि संचिन्त्य तान उवाच भुजंगमान ॥ १-३३-२९ ॥
'Having spoken thus, they all looked towards Vasuki, the lord of serpents.Vasuki, pondering deeply, then addressed the assembly of serpents.' ॥ 1-33-29 ॥

itya uktvA samudaikSanta vAsukiM pannagezvarama vAsukiza cApi saMcintya tAna uvAca bhujaMgamAna ॥ 1-33-29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनैषा वॊ नैष्ठिकी बुद्धिर मता कर्तुं भुजंगमाः सर्वेषाम एव मे बुद्धिः पन्नगानां न रॊचते ॥ १-३३-३० ॥
'O serpents, I find this ultimate decision of yours unsuitable for acceptance. The counsel from all of you does not align with my preference.' ॥ 1-33-30 ॥

naiSA vò naiSThikI buddhira matA kartuM bhujaMgamAH sarveSAma eva me buddhiH pannagAnAM na ròcate ॥ 1-33-30 ॥
