[बर] शेषॊ ऽसि नागॊत्तम धर्मदेवॊ; महीम इमां धारयसे यद एकः अनन्त भॊगः परिगृह्य सर्वां; यथाहम एवं बलभिद यथा वा ॥ १-३२-२३ ॥

'Brahman said, 'O Sesha, O best of serpents, you are the embodiment of righteousness, for you alone, with your immense form, sustain the Earth along with everything on her, just as I, or Valavit (Indra), can.'" ॥ 1-32-23 ॥
