एते पराधान्यतॊ नागाः कीर्तिता दविजसत्तम बहुत्वान नामधेयानाम इतरे न परकीर्तिताः ॥ १-३१-१६ ॥

'Thus, O best of regenerate ones, have I said the names of the principal serpents. From fear of being tedious I do not give names of the rest.' ॥ 1-31-16 ॥

english translation

ete parAdhAnyatò nAgAH kIrtitA davijasattama bahutvAna nAmadheyAnAma itare na parakIrtitAH ॥ 1-31-16 ॥
