एते पराधान्यतॊ नागाः कीर्तिता दविजसत्तम बहुत्वान नामधेयानाम इतरे न परकीर्तिताः ।। १-३१-१६ ।।

sanskrit

'Thus, O best of regenerate ones, have I said the names of the principal serpents. From fear of being tedious I do not give names of the rest.' ।। 1-31-16 ।।

english translation

ete parAdhAnyatò nAgAH kIrtitA davijasattama bahutvAna nAmadheyAnAma itare na parakIrtitAH || 1-31-16 ||

'O ascetic one, the progeny of these snakes, along with their descendants, is countless. Contemplating this, I refrain from listing them all to you.' ।। 1-31-17 ।।
