तच छरुत्वा तस्य माता सरमा पुत्रशॊकार्ता तत सत्रम उपागच्छद यत्र सजनमेजयः सह भरातृभिर दीर्घसत्रम उपास्ते ॥ १-३-७ ॥
' His mother Sarama hearing this and much distressed at the affliction of her son went to the place where Janamejaya with his brothers was at his long-extending sacrifice.' ॥ 1-3-7 ॥
