पट्टिशैः परिघैः शूलैर गदाभिश च सवासवाः कषुरान्तैर जवलितैश चापि चक्रैर आदित्यरूपिभिः ।। १-१८-१२ ।।

sanskrit

'All the wise ones (the celestials) with Indra amongst them armed with double-edged broad swords, iron maces furnished with sharp spikes, pointed lances, maces, bright arrows, and many a discus of the form of the sun, saw him over head.' ।। 1-28-12 ।।

english translation

paTTizaiH parighaiH zUlaira gadAbhiza ca savAsavAH kaSurAntaira javalitaiza cApi cakraira AdityarUpibhiH || 1-18-12 ||
