अभूतपूर्वं संग्रामे तदा देवासुरे ऽपि च ववुर वाताः सनिर्घाताः पेतुर उल्काः समन्ततः ॥ १-१६-३० ॥

sanskrit

'Such a thing had never happened even during the war between the gods and the Asuras. And the winds blew accompanied with thunder, and meteors fell by thousands.' ॥ 1-26-30 ॥

english translation

abhUtapUrvaM saMgrAme tadA devAsure 'pi ca vavura vAtAH sanirghAtAH petura ulkAH samantataH ॥ 1-16-30 ॥
