सहभार्ये विनिष्क्रान्ते तस्मिन विप्रे स पक्षिराट वितत्य पक्षाव आकाशम उत्पपात मनॊजवः ॥ १-१५-६ ॥
'And when that Brahmana had come out with his wife, that lord of birds, fleet as the mind, stretching his wings ascended the skies.' ॥ 1-25-6 ॥
english translation
sahabhArye viniSkrAnte tasmina vipre sa pakSirATa vitatya pakSAva AkAzama utpapAta manòjavaH ॥ 1-15-6 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततॊ ऽपश्यत स पितरं पृष्ठश चाख्यातवान पितुः अहं हि सर्पैः परहितः सॊमम आहर्तुम उद्यतः मातुर दास्य विमॊक्षार्थम आहरिष्ये तम अद्य वै ॥ १-१५-७ ॥
'Spotting his father, Garuda was greeted, and he, possessing unmatched strength, responded appropriately. The revered sage Kasyapa then inquired, 'O child, are you well? Do you have ample sustenance every day? Is there abundant food for you in the realm?' ॥ 1-25-7 ॥
english translation
tatò 'pazyata sa pitaraM pRSThaza cAkhyAtavAna pituH ahaM hi sarpaiH parahitaH sòmama Ahartuma udyataH mAtura dAsya vimòkSArthama AhariSye tama adya vai ॥ 1-15-7 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमात्रा चास्मि समादिष्टॊ निषादान भक्षयेति वै न च मे तृप्तिर अभवद भक्षयित्वा सहस्रशः ॥ १-१५-८ ॥
'Garuda replied, 'My mother, brother, and I are always well. However, Father, I often struggle to find abundant food, which leaves me in a state of unease.' ॥ 1-25-8 ॥
english translation
mAtrA cAsmi samAdiSTò niSAdAna bhakSayeti vai na ca me tRptira abhavada bhakSayitvA sahasrazaH ॥ 1-15-8 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्माद भॊक्तव्यम अपरं भगवन परदिशस्व मे यद भुक्त्वामृतम आहर्तुं समर्थः सयाम अहं परभॊ ॥ १-१५-९ ॥
'I have been tasked by the serpents to retrieve the extraordinary nectar. Indeed, today I shall secure it, liberating my mother from her captivity.' ॥ 1-25-9 ॥

tasmAda bhòktavyama aparaM bhagavana paradizasva me yada bhuktvAmRtama AhartuM samarthaH sayAma ahaM parabhò ॥ 1-15-9 ॥

'There was of old a great Rishi of the name of Vibhavasu. He was exceedingly wrathful. He had a younger brother of the name of Supritika.' ॥ 1-25-10 ॥
