अग्निर अर्कॊ विषं शस्त्रं विप्रॊ भवति कॊपितः भूतानाम अग्रभुग विप्रॊ वर्णश्रेष्ठः पिता गुरुः ।। १-१४-४ ।।

sanskrit

'A Brahmana, when angry, becomes like fire or the Sun, like poison or an edged weapon. A Brahmana, it has been said, is the master of all creatures. For these andother reasons, a Brahmana is the adored of the virtuous.' ।। 1-24-4 ।।

english translation

agnira arkò viSaM zastraM viprò bhavati kòpitaH bhUtAnAma agrabhuga viprò varNazreSThaH pitA guruH || 1-14-4 ||
