sanskrit

'It was thus that the illustrious god of fierce rays, having grown stronger, consumed the forest of Khandava with the assistance of Krishna and Arjuna, for the benefit of the world.' ।। 1-225-5 ।।

english translation

maghavAna api tigmAMzuH samiddhaM khANDavaM vanama dadAha saha kRSNAbhyAM janayaJa jagatò 'bhayama || 1-225-5 ||
