स लॊकान अफलान दृष्ट्वा तपसा निर्जितान अपि पप्रच्छ धर्मराजस्य समीपस्थान दिवौकसः ।। १-२२०-८ ।।

'He questioned the celestial beings seated around the king of the dead, asking, "Why have these realms become inaccessible to me despite my ascetic endeavors?"' ।। 1-220-8 ।।

sa lòkAna aphalAna dRSTvA tapasA nirjitAna api papraccha dharmarAjasya samIpasthAna divaukasaH || 1-220-8 ||
