अर्चिर धाराभिसंबद्धं धूमविद्युत समाकुलम बभूव तद वनं घॊरं सतनयित्नुसघॊषवत ॥ १-२१७-२२ ॥

sanskrit

'Then with the flames contending with those heavy showers, and with masses of clouds overhead, that forest, filled with smoke and flashes of lightning, became terrible to behold.' ॥ 1-217-22 ॥

english translation

arcira dhArAbhisaMbaddhaM dhUmavidyuta samAkulama babhUva tada vanaM ghòraM satanayitnusaghòSavata ॥ 1-217-22 ॥
