नागानाम आलयं भद्रे सुरम्यं रमणीयकम समुद्रकुक्षाव एकान्ते तत्र मां विनते वह ॥ १-२१-४ ॥

'In the presence of her son, Kadru addressed Vinata with these words, "O gentle Vinata, there lies in a distant part of the ocean a charming and beautiful realm inhabited by the Nagas. Take me there!"' ॥ 1-21-4 ॥

nAgAnAma AlayaM bhadre suramyaM ramaNIyakama samudrakukSAva ekAnte tatra mAM vinate vaha ॥ 1-21-4 ॥
