अगस्त्यतीर्थं सौभद्रं पौलॊमं च सुपावनम कारंधमं परसन्नं च हयमेध फलं च यत भारद्वाजस्य तीर्थं च पापप्रशमनं महत ।। १-२०८-३ ।।

sanskrit

'However, all of them avoided those five waters. These sacred waters were known as Agastya Tirtha, Saubhadra Tirtha, Pauloma Tirtha of great sanctity, Karandhama Tirtha of immense auspiciousness, yielding the benefits of a horse-sacrifice to those who bathed there, and Bharadwaja Tirtha, the great purifier of sins.' ।। 1-208-3 ।।

english translation

agastyatIrthaM saubhadraM paulòmaM ca supAvanama kAraMdhamaM parasannaM ca hayamedha phalaM ca yata bhAradvAjasya tIrthaM ca pApaprazamanaM mahata || 1-208-3 ||
