ततः संभव पर्वॊक्तम अद्भुतं देवनिर्मितम दाहॊ जतु गृहस्यात्र हैडिम्बं पर्व चॊच्यते ॥ १-२-३५ ॥

'Following that is the remarkable Haidimba Parva, a divine creation, which unfolds the wondrous events surrounding the burning of the house.'॥ 1-2-35 ॥
