यदि दत्तं यदि हुतं विद्यते यदि नस तपः तेन तिष्ठन्तु नगरे पाण्डवाः शरदां शतम ॥ १-१९९-२० ॥
'If we have ever given in charity, if we have ever offered clarified butter into the fire, if we have any ascetic merit, then let the Pandavas, by virtue of all those acts, stay in our town for a hundred years.' ॥ 1-199-20 ॥
