शरुत्वा च जीवतः पार्थान पौरजानपदॊ जनः बलवद दर्शने गृध्नुस तेषां राजन कुरु परियम ॥ १-१९७-२७ ॥
'And having heard that the Parthas (Pandavas) are alive, O King, The people of the cities and provinces, being emboldened at their sight, Are becoming greedy towards them, O Descendant of Kuru, make them an offering.' ॥ 1-197-27 ॥
