अथ दुर्यॊधनॊ राजा विमना भरातृभिः सह अश्वत्थाम्ना मातुलेन कर्णेन च कृपेण च ।। १-१९२-९ ।।

'When Duryodhana heard Draupadi's voice proclaim The Lord of Milky Coursers as her chosen flame, His spirit sank, by bitter anguish deeply gored; With brothers, uncle, Karna, Kripa at his side, The stricken prince, dejection scarce concealed, Retraced his steps towards Hastinapur's royal pride. A somber trail that noble company wended, Their hopes for nuptial joys so cruelly upended.' ।। 1-192-9 ।।

atha duryòdhanò rAjA vimanA bharAtRbhiH saha azvatthAmnA mAtulena karNena ca kRpeNa ca || 1-192-9 ||
