गजान विनीतान भद्रांश च सदश्वांश च सवलंकृतान रथांश च दान्तान सौवर्णैः शुभैः पट्टैर अलंकृतान ॥ १-१९१-१७ ॥

'He also bestowed upon them numerous well-trained elephants from the country of Madra, along with many excellent horses adorned in costly harness, chariots drawn by horses of splendid colors and large teeth.' ॥ 1-191-17 ॥
