पाण्डवाश चापि कुन्ती च धृष्टद्युम्नश च पार्षतः विचेतसस ते तत्रैव परतीक्षन्ते सम ताव उभौ ॥ १-१८८-२१ ॥

'The Pandavas, Kunti, and Dhrishtadyumna of the lineage of Prishata sat there, awaiting the return of Vyasa and Drupada.' ॥ 1-188-21 ॥

pANDavAza cApi kuntI ca dhRSTadyumnaza ca pArSataH vicetasasa te tatraiva paratIkSante sama tAva ubhau ॥ 1-188-21 ॥

ततॊ दवैपायनस तस्मै नरेन्द्राय महात्मने आचख्यौ तद यथा धर्मॊ बहूनाम एकपत्निता ॥ १-१८८-२२ ॥

'Meanwhile, Dwaipayana began his discourse with the illustrious monarch, explaining why the practice of polyandry could not be regarded as sinful.' ॥ 1-188-22 ॥

tatò davaipAyanasa tasmai narendrAya mahAtmane Acakhyau tada yathA dharmò bahUnAma ekapatnitA ॥ 1-188-22 ॥
