[वै] भरातृवचस तत परसमीक्ष्य सर्वे; जयेष्ठस्य पाण्डॊस तनयास तदानीम तम एवार्थं धयायमाना मनॊभिर; आसां चक्रुर अथ तत्रामितौजाः ॥ १-१८३-१ ॥
'Upon hearing their eldest brother's words, the sons of Pandu collectively deliberated, their minds focused on that purpose. Then, endowed with great radiance, they accepted that decision.' ॥ 1-183-1 ॥
